Unilevel is one of the earliest forms of network marketing compensation plans. These plans allow the distributor to sponsor an unlimited number of first level distributors. Compensation is earned from the first lines of associates. Fixed and sometimes variable percentages are paid according to the volume of sales of their first line. The fixed percentage ultimately determines the maximum payment to distributors. Some unilevel plans have compressions and/or unlimited bonuses.
