CPSGT-certified technicians work under the supervision of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs) in sleep labs and clinics, gaining hands-on experience while building their expertise. The CPSGT credential is valid for three years, during which individuals are expected to advance their skills and transition to the RPSGT certification, solidifying their role as professionals in the field of sleep medicine.
