Iodine solution, counterstain, dye decolorizing solution (such as alcohol or acetone), and crystal violet are some of the components that make up gram labelling methods. While automated systems use computer-operated processes to conduct the staining stages, manual systems call for the user to carry out each phase of the staining process directly. Automated systems are more effective and can lower the possibility of human mistake while colouring.
