Find out about spending active evenings in clubs

Boca Raton is home to some of the most luxurious country clubs in South Florida. These clubs boast upscale golf courses and pro-level tennis courts. They also offer other recreational and social activities for their members.

Designed by Joe Lee, Winston Trails is a tough course that demands your best from tee to green. It has challenging fairways and plenty of bunkers to test your skills.

Red Reef Family Golf Course

Golfers love this public course that’s minutes from Boca Raton’s beautiful Red Reef Park beach. The course features a timelessly elegant design and a wide range of amenities, including electric and pull cart rentals, snack bar, practice putting green, on-course bathrooms, and advance tee times.

This 9-hole golf course is located between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. It has a picturesque location that’s framed by mature trees. The course offers holes that range from 54 to 227 yards in length. The tees, fairways, and greens are planted with Seashore Paspalum, which provides bright color and excellent playing surfaces. This course is a great challenge for golfers and a great place to work on your short game.

Although the city has owned Red Reef Park for years, it has been losing money on the course. The district’s board recently agreed to seek expert consultants for advice about the course’s profitability. This is an important move because the district has been paying out large sums every year to keep the course open. This has made the board frustrated and unhappy about paying for this expensive course.

Winston Trails

Winston Trails is a gated golf community located on the east side of Jog Road between Lantana and Hypoluxo. The community features an 18-hole Joe Lee signature championship golf course and club that offers non-equity memberships for a reasonable fee for both residents and non-residents. The community also has a clubhouse, two resort-style pools, three basketball courts, six Har-Tru tennis courts, state of the art fitness center and a full service restaurant.

The neighborhood is composed of medium sized, four or more bedroom single-family homes, and is almost exclusively owner occupied. According to NeighborhoodScout’s exclusive analysis, residents of Winston Trails spend about 15 to 30 minutes commuting one-way to work.

Winston Trails is a family-friendly community, with top public schools and low crime rates. Its location provides easy access to I-95, the Florida Turnpike, Palm Beach International Airport and nearby beaches. There are also many restaurants, shopping and entertainment options in the area. The neighborhood also has three gated entrances for added security and convenience. The community also offers a variety of social activities, including an extensive golf program and community events.

Oriole Golf Club

The Oriole Golf Club is a community that features an on-site championship golf course and a clubhouse. The golf course offers challenging play for players of all skill levels. It is well-groomed and has beautiful views of the ocean. In addition, the clubhouse has a restaurant and lounge.

The golf course recently went through a renovation project that included the installation of new Champion Ultra Dwarf greens. These greens have been a hit with golfers and have proved to be some of the best putting surfaces in South Florida. The renovation also included the replacement and re-shaping of many of the huge bunkers surrounding the greens.

Homeowners of Oriole Golf Club enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle thanks to their condo association, which takes care of exterior maintenance, landscaping, and trash removal. This allows them to spend more time enjoying the club’s amenities, such as its on-site golf course and multiple outdoor pools. The neighborhood is also conveniently located, putting residents within quick reach of grocery stores and healthcare providers. In addition, they are near several parks and natural areas.

Boca Raton Resort Club

The Boca Raton Resort Club, previously a Waldorf Astoria resort, has relaunched as an independent luxury resort under new ownership. The property offers bespoke enhancements in accommodations, culinary concepts and programming.

The hotel’s Beach Club, designed by Rockwell Group, reimagines oceanfront luxury. The rooms and suites are clean-lined with modern interiors and sweeping sweeps of turquoise water. A fresh, new dining menu offers Mediterranean flavors in the Beach Club, and a cocktail bar and lounge with expansive views.

In addition to the renowned Spa Palmera, guests can explore exhilarating on-the-water experiences, or relax in a private cabana on the golden beach, with personal butler service and zero-gravity lounge chairs. The resort also offers an array of fitness classes, from yoga and barre to boot camp and tai chi.

The property is surrounded by a half-mile of private beachfront, and sits on the edge of Mizner Park, an outdoor entertainment district. There are high-end shopping, restaurants and a fine arts museum. The resort is also close to two airports and a short drive from the heart of South Florida’s dynamic business community.

Polo Club

The Polo Club is a community built with resort-style living in mind. Members can enjoy world-class golf, tennis, and polo and take advantage of the Club’s fitness facilities and amenities. In a world where connections between generations are scarce, The Club fosters friendships across age groups. It’s not uncommon to see seasoned retirees teeing off alongside young professionals and grandparents bonding with grandchildren over culinary adventures.

A variety of themed family dinners honoring cultural traditions are another example of The Polo Club’s commitment to intergenerational connection. These dining experiences are more than a feast for the senses; they are an opportunity for families to share stories and build a rich tapestry of memories.

Polo Sundays are a great way to see top players and polo ponies in action. Purchase a Daily Tailgate space to enjoy a full polo match experience including food, music and a pop-up bar.
