Ingredients for recipe:

·        Potatoes: 3 medium potatoes

·        Corn flour 0.15 lb

·        All-purpose flour 0.10 lb

·        Oil (for deep frying) As needed

·        Garlic (chopped) 6–7 cloves

·        Green chillies (sliced) 2–3 chillies

·        Soy sauce 2 tbsp

·        Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp

·        Vinegar 1 tsp

·        Salt to taste

·        Black pepper ½ tsp

Along with this, you can use capsicum and red chilli sauce along with other ingredients of the recipe, but this is optional. You can also add spring onions to your recipe for garnishing.

Note: Some ingredients are given in pounds, which are used in countries like the USA or the UK. If in your country the unit of measurement of weight is grams and kilograms, then you can convert these lb to g or pounds to kg to make this recipe good and tasty, because exact measurement is very important for any recipe, and there is a risk of spoiling the taste of the dish.

Preparation Steps:

Step 1: Wash and peel three medium-sized potatoes weighing approximately 1.5 lbs, after which cut them into long strips like fries and soak them in cold water for 10-15 minutes. Then drain them and let them dry.

Step 2: Now take a bowl, add 0.15 lb corn flour, 0.10 lb all-purpose flour, salt and pepper as per taste and mix the potatoes till all the stripes get coated.

Step 3: After coating, deep fry the potatoes which keeping the oil in a wok till it becomes hot. When the oil becomes medium hot, fry the potatoes till they become golden and crispy. When the potatoes are deep fried till they turn golden, take them out of the oil and place them on a paper or tissue so that the excess oil drains out.

Step 4: After the potatoes are ready, the sauce has to be prepared. For this, another pan or wok has to be taken and in it sauté 1 tbsp oil, green chillies and garlic, and then if you want to add capsicum, then you can add that too. After sautéing, add soy sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, salt and pepper as needed and red chilli sauce if you want to add it. After this, cook the sauce mixture for 2-3 minutes until it thickens and tastes delicious.
