Important Dates You Don't Want to Miss

SLAT 2026 Exam Dates are December 20 and 28, 2025, so you have plenty of time to study. Don't leave it until the last moment though—SLAT 2026 Registration has already opened and closes November 30, 2025. After registering, look out for the SLAT 2026 Admit Card, which will be published on December 11 and 18 depending on your exam date.

Who Can Apply

To be eligible, you’ll need to have completed your 10+2 with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). There’s no age limit, so whether you’re fresh out of school or taking a gap year, you’re welcome to apply.

What’s in the Exam?

The SLAT 2026 Exam Pattern consists of five sections: Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and General Knowledge. All these sections are aimed at assessing your legal studies aptitude. The SLAT Syllabus 2026 comprises everything ranging from current events to law principles, so an overall prep plan is crucial.

Post-Exam

Once you sit for the test, the SLAT 2026 Result will be made available online. If you pass the cut, you will be called in for a Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)—both are very important for final selection.

Final Thoughts

The SLAT abbreviation—Symbiosis Law Admission Test—may sound formal, but it's a major milestone for future lawyers. With exam dates finalized and registration underway, now's the time to take your studies seriously.
