How to Know if Your Marble Benchtop is Sealed?
Do a water test. Pour a small amount of water onto the surface of the stone benchtop. If the water beads up and rolls off, the marble benchtop is sealed. If the water is absorbed into the surface, the marble benchtop is not sealed.
Ask the installer. If you’re not sure if your marble stone benchtop is sealed, ask the person who installed it. They should be able to tell you whether or not the sealer was applied.
