New Delhi, September 2025GoSharpener, India’s leading youth-focused sustainability platform, in collaboration with Peedus People, proudly organized the Dogeese Session,an innovative program designed to help students understand animal behavior, nurture compassion, and build empathy towards dogs.

Schools welcomed this unique initiative that empowered students to become well-informed, responsible, and compassionate changemakers in their interaction with animals.

Highlights of the Dogeese Session

Through engaging discussions and activities, students learned to decode how dogs communicate using their eyes, ears, hair, and tails, while also gaining practical awareness on:

  • The 5 key reasons why dogs may bite humans.

  • Ways humans can coexist with dogs safely and respectfully.

  • The fundamental rights of animals and why ethical treatment is essential.

  • Insights from a story narration session explaining how dogs perceive height, why they fear tall spaces, and why humans should never hit or hurt animals.

The session concluded with a surprise activity where students interacted with a live pup, observing its behavior firsthand and applying the empathy-driven lessons learned during the program.
