Digital signage content delivery involves distributing files like images, video, and other rich media assets from the CMS to each display device. Common delivery methods include network/wired connections using Ethernet, Wi-Fi networks for wireless delivery, or external storage devices like USB drives. Advanced systems also offer content delivery over the internet through cloud-based models. Users can schedule playback of content on precise display schedules, control messaging based on triggers like time of day, location, weather, etc. Real-time data feeds can also dynamically update signage content.
